Terms and conditions

These terms apply to every booking of Casa Eunice made directly through this website, by email or by WhatsApp. By booking, you agree to them.

The property

Casa Eunice is a private holiday villa at Urb. Cabeço de Pias, Lote 59, 8400-561 Lagoa, Portugal. It is registered as local accommodation (Alojamento Local) under number 92896/AL. The owner is Cleunice Lopes Da Silva Calado, NIF 196983096. The villa is rented as a whole, for up to 8 guests.

Booking and payment

• The minimum stay is 5 nights.
• A booking is confirmed when we confirm it in writing and receive a deposit of 30% of the total price.
• The balance is due [number] days before arrival.
• Prices are in euros and are shown for the whole villa per night, according to the season.
• A refundable security deposit of [amount] may be requested at check-in.

Extras and taxes

• Pool heating is available on request for 300 euros per week.
• Two baby cots are available. Please ask when you book.
• Airport transfers are available on request. The price depends on the arrival time and the number of passengers and is agreed before the trip.
• The municipal tourist tax is 2 euros per person per night (1 euro in winter). Children under 13 do not pay.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in is from 4:00 PM and check-out is by 10:00 AM. We can store your luggage before check-in and after check-out. Please tell us your expected arrival time in advance. At check-in we must register all guests, which requires an identity document for each adult.

Cancellation

• Refundable rate: you can cancel up to 10 days before the arrival date and receive a refund of the amounts paid. If you cancel within 10 days of arrival, you pay the full stay.
• Non-refundable rate: if you cancel, the full amount of the stay is charged.
• Please cancel in writing by email or WhatsApp.

House rules

• The villa is strictly non-smoking indoors. Smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor areas.
• No pets.
• No parties or events.
• The number of guests may not exceed 8 without our written agreement.
• Please respect the neighbours and keep noise low in the evening and at night.

Pool and safety

The pool has no lifeguard. Children must always be supervised by an adult, and guests use the pool at their own risk. Please follow the safety signs around the pool.

Damage and liability

Guests are responsible for any damage to the villa or its contents caused during the stay and may be charged for repairs or replacement. We are not responsible for loss of or damage to guests' personal belongings, except where the law says otherwise.

Events beyond our control

If we cannot provide the villa because of an event beyond our control, we will offer you alternative dates or a refund of the amounts you paid.

Complaints and disputes

If you have a complaint, please tell us during your stay so we can fix it quickly. Portuguese law gives you access to the online complaints book at www.livroreclamacoes.pt. You can also use the EU online dispute resolution platform. [Add the consumer dispute resolution body, if applicable.]
